Our most cost-effective limestone. A perfectly balanced blend of crushed rock and limestone dust that packs down exceptionally tight to form a solid, cement-like foundation. Ideal for driveways, heavy parking areas, roads, and building pads.
57 Limestone (White Rock / Driveway Gravel)
3/8" to 1" washed stone · 35% of our driveways
Smaller, premium white limestone aggregates. Number 56 (3/4"-1/2"), Number 7 (1/2"), and Number 8 (3/8") are incredibly easy to walk on, making them the perfect, clean choice under carports, patios, and pedestrian walkways.
Heavy Limestone (#3, #4, & Gabion Rock)
1.5" up to 9" heavy stone
Large, rugged limestone. Number 3 (2"-3") and Number 4 (1.5") are used to stabilize soft, muddy ground, access roads, and logging trails. Gabion (6"-9") is highly effective for building pads, ditch linings, and robust erosion control.
True Chert (Orange Pit Run)
Natural run-of-pit aggregate
The #1 inexpensive base material local to the river, giving local country roads their iconic orange color. True chert contains little to no soft clay, providing an incredibly hard, compacted surface. Local contractors choose this as the premier, budget-friendly base for building pads and roads.
Red Road Base (Red Pit Run / Clay Rock)
Natural rock, clay, and sand mix
Dug straight from local pits, this natural blend of rock, clay, and sand is highly versatile. Because pit characteristics vary, we source from multiple different pits to match your exact job. We use high-clay content for packing steep hills and building pads, and a more balanced, low-clay mix for flat driveways to ensure proper drainage.
River Rock (3/4" & 3/8")
Smooth, naturally rounded stone
A beautiful, round stone that is much easier on the feet than limestone. Perfect for decorative landscaping, driveway surfaces, French drains, drainage swales, concrete sub-slabs, and fill lines.
Number 4 River Rock
1.5" to 2" heavy rounded
Larger rounded river stones. We commonly use Number 4 river rock in soft, muddy areas immediately after cutting in a new driveway or road, keeping your top-dressed surface stone from sinking into soft Tennessee clay.

Sand · topsoil · fill dirt · rip rap
Clean, high-quality sands for masonry work, pool liner bases, landscape leveling and soil blending. Nutrient-rich screened topsoil and high-compaction fill dirt for grading and pad filling, plus limestone rip rap: Class A (12"-18"), Class B (18"-24") and Class C (24"+) armor stone for bank armoring and high-flow ditches.
